As a divorced mother of one, Johnson took just $250 and launched Anointed Word Media Group on May 1, 2006, under the imprint of Leading Lady Publications from her parents small computer room. Within six months of operation the company had moved into a commerical office and had published authors from around the Country.

January 2007, AWMG, the only Christian publishing company nominated, was voted Best Small Press of 2006 by Marguerite Press. February 2007, Tamika expanded the publishing company to include a male imprint, "Men of Standard Publications" and an online radio program "Anointed Authors on Air," placing all entities under the heading of Anointed Word Media Group.

A survivor of dating and domestic abuse, Johnson authored the award winning book He Loves Me Not, But I Love Myself! A young woman's guide to conquering dating violence & finding safe love.  Johnson is the founder of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Day, the Love Doesn't Leave Bruises Campaign, and is the Executive Director of the Christan Network Against Domestic Violence (www.cnadv.org), an online organization dedicated to ?Empowering victims, Educating faith leaders, and Eradicating domestic violence in the Christian home!  

As a professional speaker she has spoken around the Country to thousands of children, youth, and concerned adults about bullying, dating violence, domestic violence, and discovering one?s personal best.

The mottos she lives by are, "Love Doesn't Leave Bruises!" and "It's Glamorous to be Confident!"
